Game Recap

The Bees and Red Raiders battled back & forth in a tough, physical and competitive GCC match-up on Wednesday night. With the score tied 25-25 at the half, Shaker Heights was able to make a few more plays down the stretch to secure the 50-43 win over Medina.

Jamir Huston led Shaker with an efficient 17 points, 14 rebounds.

Medina had contributions from many players, including Emma Bobey (12pts/8rbs), Madison Luthy (8pts), Anna Smith (7pts), Lindsey Linard (6pts/6 rbs/2blks), and Abby Teske (6pts/6rbs/1blk). Amanda Holzman and Katie Neate led the way with their defense, beating the pressure and hustle plays.

The Bees will travel to Brunswick on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for the final regular season game of the year.
