The Bees dropped a non-league game to Revere, 51-41 on Wednesday night. Junionr forward Emma Bobey led with 13 points, 13 rebounds while senior guard Delaney Cullen connected on three 3’s en route to 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists. Madison Luthy (6 points) and Lindsey Linard (3 points, 6 rebounds) also made key contributions off the bench.
Cullen connected on a three-pointer at the end of the third quarter, making her the all-time leader in Medina Girls Basketball history for 3’s made in a career. She breaks a record that has stood for 24 years, held by Rochele Meyer (class of 1993).
The Bees shot just 35.3% from the floor and 38.5% from the free throw line and allowed second chance points on 11 offensive rebounds vs. the Minutemen.
Medina (6-8, 4-4) turns around immediately and plays Massillon Jackson at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 3pm.
