Bees News · MCS Athletics Information & FAQs

On Monday, April 20th, Governor DeWine announced that all schools in Ohio will remain closed and on a visual learning platform for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  Following that announcement, the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) announced the cancellation of the 2020 spring sports season.  To help in answering some of the most frequently asked questions during this time, please find this link to an FAQ page:  MCS Athletics Information & FAQ.  This information is also available on the District website and will be updated as we move forward.

It is likely that more questions may come up during the next few weeks and months.  Please feel free to email Mr. Hodkey (hodkeyt@medinabees.org) with questions regarding high school athletics, and Mr. Harper (harperm@medinabees.org) with questions regarding middle school athletics.

We are extremely disappointed that our student-athletes will not have the opportunity to compete during the spring season due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation.  It is even more devastating for our senior spring athletes from the Class of 2020 who will not have an opportunity to participate in their final high school season.  We hope to continue to recognize our senior spring athletes over the coming weeks.

Take care.  Stay safe.  Stay healthy.  Go Bees!
