The varsity boys soccer team defeated Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller 1-0 in overtime on Saturday evening at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus. The victory earned the Battling Bees their first ever state championship in the boys soccer program’s history. The two schools played to a scoreless tie for almost 95 minutes when Parker Csiszar scored the game-winner with 90 seconds left in the overtime period.
Medina finishes the season with an overall record of 18-1-4 and most importantly as the 2018 Division I State Champion in the state of Ohio. Way to go Battling Bees!!!!!!!
