The varsity boys soccer game on Tuesday afternoon ended in a scoreless tie with Shaker Heights. The Bees outshot Shaker Heights 9-5 and had seven corner kicks to the Red Raiders’ two but the Shaker goalkeeper was up to the challenge.
With the tie, Medina (11-1-4) finishes the regular season as Greater Cleveland Conference Champions but will share the league crown with Strongsville and Solon. All three teams completed conference play with 5-1-1 records.
The next game for the Bees will take place on Saturday, October 20th. Medina earned the #1 seed at the Akron Division I District and will host the winner of Firestone or Highland on that day.
