Medina picked up a win on senior night, honoring Emma Bobey & Olivia Gordon while advancing to 13-8 overall and an even 7-7 in the GCC (4th place). In a low-scoring, defensive effort by both squads, Medina held archrival Brunswick scoreless for 4 minutes & 30 seconds to close the 3rd Quarter and held them to just four 3FGM on the night.

Medina was led by Abby McMullen’s 11 points (3 3FGM), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals & 1 block plus 5 points, 7 rebounds & 2 blocks from Klara Bergholtz. Lindsey Linard was a defensive presence in the middle and posted 4 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks & 1 assist.

Sarah McKee overcame foul trouble and re-entered the contest to score 10 of her game-high 13 points in the final 3:46. She went 3-for 4 from the floor and 7-for-8 from the foul line on the night. Gordon, Aly Dwyer, Alexa Nau, Madison Luthy and Elizabeth Stuart chipped in a combined 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals from the guard positions.

The Bees will close out the regular season at Amherst Steele on Feb. 14 before tournament play begins next weekend.
