The Medina Bees fell to #1 seed Berea-Midpark, 58-46, to wrap up the season in the District Semi’s at Valley Forge. The team finishes the year with a 15-10 overall record.

A 37-25 rebounding advantage wasn’t enough for the Bees, who stayed in the game til the end despite shooting just 26.1%. Medina led 22-20 at the half before Titans point guard Jada Marone took over in the second half to finish with an impressive 32 points.

Lindsey Linard led Medina with 13 pts, 8 rbs, 4 blks while Sarah McKee (6 pts, 5 rbs, 4 blks) & Klara Bergholtz (6 pts, 6 rbs) were also strong inside. Madison Luthy & Abby McMullen each hit a pair of three-pointers and each finished with 8 pts.

Alexa Nau tallied 3 assists & Aly Dwyer posted 3 pts, 2 rbs, 1 assist, 1 steal while directing the offense.

It marked the final game as a Bee for Bergholtz and seniors Olivia Gordon (3 rebounds) and Emma Bobey (injured). Congrats to the entire roster on a very good season and another exciting game in the District Tournament!
