The Bees dropped a GCC contest to the second-place Strongsville Mustangs, 61-41. The Mustangs pressured the Bees into turnovers in throughout the game, and capitalized on the miscues along with 18 second chance opportunities from offensive rebounds.

Lindsey Linard led Medina with 9 points, all in the opening 10 minutes, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals. Sarah McKee chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals while fellow freshman Aly Dwyer added 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals. Madison Luthy tallied 8 points off the bench and Olivia Gordon posted 5 assists and 4 rebounds on the night.

Medina will travel to Massillon Jackson on Saturday for an afternoon game vs. the Polar Bears .
