The present and the future merged on Thursday afternoon at the Medina Country Club. The result was one of the Medina Bees highest finishes in recent history at the Medina Invitational. Senior Cleo Meldrum had a top ten finish with a 78 and Junior Hayley Johnson recovered from a slow start to post a 40 on the back nine en route to a 84 on the day. The story of the day was the play of freshmen Lydia Dorman and Stella Burns as they built on career lows posted earlier in the week. Dorman fired a 91 and Burns a 93 on the day to help the Bees. Senior Lauren Calvey added a 100 to complete the scoring for Medina.
