The varsity girls lacrosse team opened up tournament play with a 19-3 victory over Westerville South on Tuesday afternoon. The Bees were led by Sadie Hinkle (5 goals, 2 assists) and Cariley Van Drei (2 goals, 4 assists). Lucy O’Cull scored 4 goals and Abby Rosen scored twice. Calista Krochmal and Claire Dorman finished with multi-point efforts.

Medina improves to 8-8-1 overall on the season. The Bees advance to the next round which will be played at Ken Dukes Stadium on Friday evening. The #5 seeded Bees will host the #6 seeded Strongsville Mustangs in a Regional Quarterfinal matchup. The match is scheduled for a 7pm start.
