The MHS gymnastics team celebrated Senior Night, honoring seniors McKinley Kerans and Ellie Robertson. Both girls have competed for Medina High School gymnastics all 4 years and have been major contributors to the success of the program both in out of the gym. McKinley and Ellie have been great leaders, positive influences, and have represented Medina in a way that will truly be missed.
The team had a great meet and continues to make improvements as we head toward the postseason. Leading the Bees was freshman, Colleen Johnson who won the all around and bars, third on vault and beam, and fifth on floor. Junior, Addison Kasian placed second all around, third on bars and beam, and sixth on beam. Junior, Meghan Deighton placed third in the all around, first on floor, seventh on bars, and fifth on beam. Freshman, Macy Maxworthy had huge contributions scoring and 8.9 on bars taking fourth and 8.8 on floor. Senior, McKinley Kerans scored an 8.85 taking fourth place on beam. Also contributing to the team: Ellie Robertson, Jenna Sterk, Madelyn Deighton. The Bees will compete again on Saturday night at the Ron Ganim Legends Invitational. Good luck!
