The Bees stayed undefeated (9-0, 6-0) today with a 47-39 victory at Solon (6-2, 5-1).
Medina led at the end of each quarter, but fought off several surges by the Comets, who tied it up in the second half.

Madison Luthy posted 16 pts, including four 3-pointers, followed by Sarah McKee’s 8 pts/5 rbs & Alexa Nau’s 8 pts/3 asts. Lindsey Linard (3 pts, 9 rbs, 4 blks) & Katie Neate (5 pts, 5 rbs, tough defense) had a big impact. Aly Dwyer, Elizabeth Stuart and Rowan McDonald each contributed off the bench while Abby McMullen was versatile & tough on defense throughout the game.

Medina, off to the best start since the 1992-93 season, sits atop the GCC standings and will take a break for a few days before resuming play at the KSA Holiday Tournament in Orlando, Florida next week. The team will face Ringgold, Georgia in the opening game.
