The #3 ranked team in Ohio came to town on Saturday night and picked up the 56-37 win over the Bees thanks to 18 pts apiece from Grace Van Slooten & Aly Ray.
The Bees defense and effort disrupted the Eagles, allowing Medina to win the 2nd & 3rd quarters and remain in striking distance with 4 minutes remaining in the game. However, Medina ran out of gas and committed costly turnovers down the stretch as Notre Dame cruised to victory behind seven team 3-point field goals made and the inside play of Van Slooten.
Sarah McKee led the Bees with an outstanding effort on defense to go along with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Aly Dwyer contributed countless hustle plays, 2 points, 2 blocks, 3 assists, 4 rebounds.
Elizabeth Stuart had 8 points and Shannon Wojciak tallied 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists. Ella Silvis, Regan Todia, Hailey Tripp also scored for Medina.
The Bees (6-4) will host Brush on Thursday, January 14.
