The MHS gymnastics team competed at Magnificat High School on Tuesday night against Magnificat, North Olmsted and individuals from Fairview and Rocky River. Medina was led by sophomore, Colleen Johnson who placed second in the all around followed by senior Addison Kasian and sophomore Macy Maxworthy. Colleen won the beam title and Addison won floor. Medina had 5 of the top 10 bar scores with Addison placing 2nd, sophomore Maddy Todorovich making her bar debut placing 3rd, followed by senior Meghan Deighton in 4th, Colleen in 5th and Macy placing 8th. On beam, Macy tied for second, Maddy in 4th, and Addison in a tie for 8th. Meghan Deighton continues to work through returning from a season ending injury last year and with each meet gains valuable experience getting back to competition. Maddy Todorovich competed in her first meet doing 3 events after injury and was a solid, top scorer in all three. We look forward to her at full strength as we approach the postseason. Also contributing to the Bees team score were juniors Faith Webb and Madelyn Deighton, freshman Addy Cusick, and senior Jenna Sterk. Congratulations girls! Medina will compete on Monday at Strongsville. GO BEES!
